The Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield is pleased to offer this Chamber of Commerce exclusive Series of business owner and management development programs to its members.  We understand the vital role professional development serves in helping businesses improve their performance and profitability.  We also appreciate how hard you work and the importance of keeping your business and personal lives in balance.   This Series serves these needs and we encourage every business owner, manager and key staff member to take advantage of this world class series. 

The Business Owner and Management Series is your opportunity to combine world class professional development with time to enjoy a world class resort.  The Series features Disney Institute professional development and Disney Resort Destinations.  It is designed specifically for business owners, principals, managers and key staff.  Topics include Leadership Excellence, People Management, Brand Loyalty, Quality Service, and Inspiring Creativity - and are presented by Disney Institute’s professional facilitators.  As a Disney Resort based Program, attendees have the opportunity for a unique  “Disney Learning Experience” that includes classroom activities as well as “field experience” learning.  Your learning is enhanced by literally stepping into Disney’s "living laboratory" of Theme Parks and Resorts for field experiences and private “Behind-The-Scenes” tours. 

Should your spouse or a guest travel with you to the resort, they’ll have the option to “join in” the welcome reception, the exclusive “behind-the-scenes” tour, and the graduation luncheon.  

The Series’ unique program scheduling provides time to enjoy your Walt Disney World® Resort.  By starting each day early and adjourning in the early afternoon, you’ll have time to enjoy Disney’s Theme Parks, championship golf courses and other attractions. Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a 1880s coastal New England-themed Disney Deluxe Resort located in a formal gray and white clapboard building beside 3-acre Stormalong Bay and 25-acre Crescent Lake.  Room rates start at $340 per night, plus tax in a standard room most nights during value season. (Minimum length of stay requirements may apply.)

Designed by renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern—known for his east coast beach houses—this splendid 5-story resort transports guests to the summertime shingle style hotels of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Sister resort Disney's Beach Club Resort is a more relaxed, pastel-toned edifice next door, and the 2 share many amenities.

Behind Disney's Yacht Club Resort lie Stormalong Bay and Crescent Lake. Stormalong Bay spans 3 acres, with water slides emerging from the life-size replica of a wrecked ship, lagoons, a slow river to float along in inner tubes and a sand-bottom pool. At the white sand-shored Crescent Lake, guests can rent a variety of watercraft (such as pedal boats and pontoons) from the Bayside Marina, go on a fishing expedition or take a private cruise on the Breathless, where at night one might see fireworks.
